✪  Amazing news! Today marks the day of me getting my first job! I applied about a month ago to my school's police department in hopes of getting student patrol and being able to serve in uniform again. Today was my interview and I was super nervous, but I tackled with as much confidence I could muster. I was interviewed by the head of the detachment and three current long term workers (four in total) all sitting at one end starting at me, asking questions, and jotting things down. Having four people I had to answer made it a little unnerving; but it was much like an ROTC's promotion board. I left with a thankfulness of having ROTC experience. I believed it helped me in more ways than I could count. Later this evening I got a phone call from the sergeant telling me I got the job. BEHOLD! I AM NOW STUDENT PATROL!

My first job... and I'm basically student police. This is truly exciting, encouraging, and motivating. I can't wait to start training...
